Gulf Oil Disaster; What They’re NOT Telling Us…

In Response to a fwd. regarding the BP Gulf Oil Disaster – July 19, 2010:

Re. your recent report on the sea bed around the BP run away well in the Gulf – did I send you the speculative scenario of what could happen if / when the sea bed over that reservoir of gas and oil (that some people think is running nearly 100,000 pounds per square inch of pressure, which no one really knows how to control) “lets go” on us?

Audio: OIL SPILL – NEW INFO bulge on ocean floor, methane buildup around well casing….

BP Quietly Readying The Omega Plan — A ‘Super Weapon’ To Avert Escalating Gulf Nightmare
In a desperate attempt to stop a huge area of the Gulf ocean floor from possibly rupturing due to subterranean methane gas
(leading to a calamity no human has ever seen)
BP has ripped a page from science fiction books. The giant oil company is now quietly preparing to test a small nuclear device in a
frenzied rush against time to quell a cascading catastrophe. If successful they will have the capability to detonate a controlled fusion generated pulse.
While the world watches BP’s attempt to contain the oil gusher at the former Deepwater Horizon site, company officials have given the green light on an astounding plan to use what is known as a
nuclear EPFCG charge if all else fails.

Here's how the Russians have done it:
Pretty slick, huh?

What you see in the animation about gas rupturing the well casing deep underground  and peculating up around it is essentially  what is going on (although we are not supposed to know about it) at the BP site,  but that is about a mile under water.

Sea floor compromised: Reports still indicate

that methane is flooding the Gulf waters at a rate one million times more than normal, and the NOAA research vessel, Thomas Jefferson has reported spotting new fissures. Last week the science ship stunned some reporters with the revelation that the oceanographic team had discovered and measured a rift in the ocean floor miles from the BP wellhead.
The rift was reported to be more than 100 feet long and widening. Oil and methane continues to plume from that rift.

Oh my; the TV news isn’t telling us about THAT!

Some people are mentioning that this “rift” just so happens to be part of a natural fault line that goes up the Mississippi River all the way to the Great Lakes.  What happens if we manage to “unzip” that, I wonder?

Could this be why anyone trying to fly over the scene or take unauthorized pictures is threatened with arrest and a $40,000 fine?

Scientists Say Gulf Spill May Permanently Alter Food Chain
After various reports of dead and mutated animals, scientists have concluded damage will infiltrate the entire food chain. Here’s a rundown of the early ecological impact of all that oil, from the AP: * Researches have documented a massive die-off of pyrosomes — cucumber-shaped, gelatinous organisms fed on by endangered sea turtles. * Droplets of oil are being found inside the shells of young crabs that are a mainstay in the diet of fish, turtles and shorebirds. * And at the base of the food web, tiny organisms that consume oil and gas are proliferating. These events could permanently alter the regional ecosystem. Unfortunately, the Gulf states depend on fishing and tourism.

Gov Fears BP Gulf Well Cap Could Make Things Worse
A top BP executive says there’s no guarantee a plan to temporarily cap its gushing oil well will go ahead after the federal government questioned whether it will make the leak worse. BP Chief Operating Officer Doug Suttles told The Associated Press in a phone interview Wednesday that BP is trying to resolve the government’s concerns. Suttles said he did not know if BP will get approval to go ahead with closing valves that have been left open since the capping stack was installed atop the well Monday. Suttles said the government wants to verify that the casing, or the piping in the well, is intact and that the oil would stay contained if BP shuts the well in. Suttles said the next step would depend on the outcome of a meeting of BP and government officials early Wednesday afternoon.

Gee; ya don’t suppose?

There is a lot of potential “Tin foil hat” stuff out there, but this is from pretty reputable sources:

So what happens in the case of an “underground blowout”?

Well, I don’t think anyone really knows for sure… but speculation abounds, and some of the possible scenarios are utterly terrifying.

A “worst case scenario” that I put out back in June after studying the issue a bit, depicted something so utterly horrid that I hoped to God that I was wrong.   It involves a massive, explosive rupture of the entire oil and gas reservoir, releasing an ocean of oil, methane, and toxic and potentially radioactive gasses into the Gulf.
The “hydrates”, frozen gas (mostly flammable methane) in solid form re-gassifies explosively as it approaches the surface, turning the gulf into a froth in which no surface vessel will survive.   If the gas flame – off torches on the oil gathering ships ignite it, which they probably will, you will have a fireball of nuclear proportions.

Here’s what METHANE will do for ya:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tn_EZSp-MKo&feature=related

(This video was produced prior to the BP Deep Water Horizon rig disaster, by the way. )

The exploding methane in turn will likely ignite the oil, which may boil up to cover the surface several feet deep.

The Gulf then becomes a massive “Lake of fire” of Prophetic Biblical proportions.  What the massive plume of smoke will do to our global atmosphere I can only guess.    A “Nuclear Winter” is not beyond the pale, I suppose.
Global famine and species extinction could follow within a couple of years.
Will Homo Sapiens be one of them?

After the methane explosion, the sea bed very likely collapses, as some of the above videos describe, and you have a massive TSUNAMI of burning oil coming ashore at some 600 MPH, and God only knows how high.   Needless to say the destruction and death would be of apocalyptic proportions.   It would make what happened to the Roman City of Pompeii during the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius seem like a minor inconvenience by comparison.

Some “experts” are predicting a swath of total destruction between 50 and 100 miles inland of the Gulf Coast.  They say that Florida could be completely exterminated, and remain uninhabitable for decades.

I still hope and pray that I’m wrong – but all too many Scientists are starting to share my concerns, and it’s making me a little nervous, frankly.

If I hadn’t read the Book and know how this all comes out in the end, I would be utterly terrified!

Should any of you start feeling a little terrified about now and have yet to study The BOOK, I affectionately suggest that you commence doing so ASAP.   We may not have a lot of time to dilly-dally, Beloved.

Stay tuned… we certainly live in interesting times.

Oh yes; one other thing…

…It wouldn’t hurt to PRAY.

…Why do I see my “In the Way of Introduction” post twice, and yet when I delete ONE of them, they BOTH go away, and show up as ONE file in the “trash”?
When I go there and “restore”, I get TWO showing up again in “My Stuff”!
What gives??!!!
